At Ameza Academy, our online writing development programmes help children build strong writing foundations while developing imagination, clarity, and confidence. Lessons are carefully structured, supportive, and age-appropriate, guiding students step by step from idea generation to polished written work. Each programme focuses on helping children organise their thoughts, expand vocabulary, and express ideas clearly — essential skills that support academic writing, school assessments, and effective communication across subjects.

Selective School Preparation Programme

We  support students preparing for selective school assessments, including British 11+ examinations, through strong writing foundations and structured practice. Our 11+ English tuition lessons focus on developing the reading comprehension, language accuracy, and creative writing skills required for success in English entrance papers. Students are supported in building critical thinking, writing precision, and exam technique through carefully planned lessons that prioritise understanding over rote learning. Each learner is guided to strengthen core skills while developing confidence in applying them independently under exam conditions. With a proven 88% pass rate into grammar and independent schools, our approach reflects a balance of high academic standards and supportive instruction.

Foundation Writing Programme

Building confidence, clarity, and early writing structure

This programme supports young writers as they develop confidence with words, sentences, and simple storytelling. Through guided activities, visual prompts, and structured planning, children learn how to turn ideas into clear, coherent pieces of writing.

Lessons are carefully designed to introduce sentence construction, descriptive language, and early story structure in an engaging and achievable way. Children are encouraged to enjoy writing while building the essential skills needed to express their thoughts clearly and independently.

This programme helps children to:

  • Develop basic story structure (beginning, middle, end)

  • Build vocabulary and descriptive language

  • Construct clear, meaningful sentences

  • Organise ideas with support and guidance

Ages 10–13

Advanced Writing Development Programme

Developing structure, clarity, and independent writing skills

This programme is designed for older learners who are ready to deepen their writing skills and develop more structured, detailed pieces of work.

Students learn how to plan, structure, draft, and edit their writing with increasing independence. Lessons focus on expanding ideas, improving sentence variety, strengthening vocabulary choices, and refining clarity and flow.

Children are guided to think critically about their writing while maintaining creativity and personal voice — helping them feel confident approaching both creative and academic writing tasks.

This programme helps students to:

  • Plan and structure longer pieces of writing

  • Develop stronger paragraphs and story flow

  • Use varied sentence structures and richer vocabulary

  • Edit and improve their own writing

  • Express ideas clearly, confidently, and creatively

Ideal for:
Learners ages 10–13 who enjoy creative writing, want to improve structure and clarity, or need support developing and organising written ideas.
