Handwriting begins long before letters.
Children are often asked to write before their bodies are ready.
Handwriting needs a stable shoulder, a strong core, hands that can work independently of one another, and eyes and hands that work together. These develop through climbing, building, pouring, digging and drawing not through worksheets.
